This was a very simple cook.  I lightly seasoned the burgers with some over the counter SPG Rub
 (Salt, Pepper, Garlic).  The foil pack across the rebar had peaches.  I cooked for abt 7 minutes on each side using the grillgrates.  I did not add wood for extra smokey tatse.  There was a light charcoal taste which was perfect.

Chicken and Asparagus

The wife said she cooks them about 20 or 30 minutes in oven so thats what I did. Flipping 1/2 way through.  I seasoned with something called Bob's BBQ Rub and it was great as usual.  The asparagus was overcooked but I will cook it for only 10 minutes next time.   The Peaches were like a crustless peach pie and yes they were amazing,

 Pork Tenderloin, Pears and Pineapple (10/4/2020) I hung the tenderloin For this cook I added a chimney of Royal Oak all natural briquettes to the partially burned charcoal in the basket. I started the cook early because I thought I had 2 Thick Pork tenderloins  It turns out there was 4 of them.   I coated them with olive oil and rubbed them down with Central BBQ Rib Rub I skewered the Pears whole and hung them also I also had some skewered pineapple. The Fruit hung for about 30 minutes, the pork 45 minutes or so. Lunch is served.  That is Alabama White BBQ Sauce on the Pork Tenderloin. Some notes about the cook.  I cooked the Tenderloins to an Internal temperature of between 140 and 150.  I let them rest tented in foil for about a half an hour

Brisket/Pork Butt Fat up or Fat down

Brisket/Pork Butt Fa6 up or down  Many of have heard if you could marry a super model ot cook a Brisket would you do it Fat side up or Down.  The same applies to Pork Butts.  I was recently asked why I cook Fat down.  My reply of because I have always done it that way didn't seem to be right.  It turns out that based on the Pit Barrel cooker and my Previous pellet grills fat down wa the right way.  I had a 50/50 shot and did it right.  The logic in the below 2 articles is that the fat side should face the heat source. Butcher Shops Online

Butcher Shops Online With Covid 19 and shelter in place guidlines, I find it difficult to always get the meat that I need.  I do have instacart and shipt so I do get meat delivery and curbside pickup from many local stores.  Lately I have noticed that Costco has a good meat selection at reasonable prices, but of course you need to be a member and there delivery cost are High. In my area they are $9 plus a 5% service fee and then of course I do tip the driver.  My local butcher offers curbside but sometimes I can't get the cuts I need. Here are some ideas of where you can get meat delivered.
