Some notes on My First PBC Cook
It came out good in spite of me
.
The charcoal was easy to light using Weber Starter Cube and Chimney
- I hung Pork Chops on a Hook
- Corn in the corn basket
- Brats in the Hot dog basket
- Asparagus in tin foil in all purpose basket
I did not pay Attention to time or internal temp of cooker, I did not hook up any probes.
I did pull the pork chops after maybe 45 minutes and they were at a perfect IT of 145.
I Pulled the corn when it started to get Char Marks.
I may have undercook the brats, Grilling pre cooked Brats never seems to come out as good as raw

No my first cook did not go perfect. I made a few mistakes. The food still came out great.
1. I dropped the corn hanger onto the charcoals, I fished them out and Rehung them they were great.
2. The pineapple chunks we're not big enough for the skewers, they tasted good "raw".
3. I forgot to add the wood chips, they weren't. Needed.
4. I seasoned the pork chops with a PBC rub, I forgot to look what kind. They tasted great, a lil spicy.
5. The asparagus was prepped by my wife and wrapped in foil. I should have made some puncture holes for the smoke)
6. I should have cooked a double or triple batch (BBQ leftovers are great)
The food tasted great in spite of all this, next cook ribs and ...
My biggest conclusion is this Cooker is very forgiving, You just throw the stuff on the fire and the cooker just does it thing.
